Originally, it was mainly vegetables such as peppers and aubergines that were cultivated in glasshouses. We started cultivating Amaryllises in 1998 and, a few years later, added Lily-of-the-valley plants, also known by their French name Muguet, to their collection.
In 2007, the company was handed over to the next generation and with the purchase of the 2nd location in Laarne, the surface area of the greenhouses expanded from 10,000 m2 to 20,000 m2. In Laarne, we are also adding additional space to organise a more sustainable and efficient cultivation of all Amaryllises at one location.
In order to do the sorting of our flowers, as of today we have received a new Jamafa sorting machine. With this investment we can better serve all our customers with their specific expectations.
